Yantras are geometric instruments of meditation. Each design is a structured map of a deity's energy field and the universe's underlying order. Through their construction, the practitioner aligns mind, hand, and intention in a single act of devotion.
The yantra is central to nearly every yatra we offer. It is the working instrument by which a journey becomes a practice: the still point around which pilgrimage, ritual, and inner inquiry are arranged, drawn fresh at each threshold, copied onto paper, the heart, and the ground.
In the circuits of the Goddess, yantras are her body in geometric form, and nowhere more so than in the yantras of the Daśa Mahāvidyās, the ten wisdom-goddesses who hold the full register of her face. From Kālī, who is time itself, to Tārā, who carries you across; from Tripura Sundarī at the throne of Śrī Vidyā to Chinnamastā, Bhuvaneśvarī, and Bhairavī. Each yantra is a separate door into a single mother, drawn fresh on the threshold of her shrine.
In the landscapes of devotion, the yantra is the architecture by which longing is held steady. We work especially with the yantras of Hanumān, in whose lines courage and protection are encoded as a fortress for the heart, and of Kṛṣṇa, whose geometries hold the rasa of līlā (the play, the flute, the gopīs' circle) in mathematical stillness.
In the astrology retreats, we craft yantras of the planets most in need of nivaran: the grahas read from the horoscope as requiring rectification. These are then carried to the navagraha temples to be blessed. What begins as line and seed-syllable on paper is completed at the source: each yantra consecrated at the shrine of the planet it is made for.
We offer a small number of online programmes: guided constructions of foundational yantras, taught live and in cohort over several weeks, with the same fidelity of lineage and attention as our in-person work.
